4. James Perry HARRELL (Euzema, John);7 married Hazel McQuay; married Lorraine Lowe; born 19 August 1915;2 died 11 July 1958 Veterans Hospital, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, at age 42;7,2 buried 13 July 1958 Sunnyside Cemetery, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.7

He was a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.7 He was a Mechanic.7 He began military service In the Air Force during World War II.5

The only known child of James Perry Harrell and Hazel McQuay was:

6. Jewel Florence HARRELL (Euzema, John);10 born 4 August 1922 Hawkinsville, Pulaski County, Georgia;10,2 married SSgt. James David Smith, son of Samuel Arthur Smith and Dora Lee Burnett, 15 February 1941 Pinehurst, Dooly County, Georgia;2 died 18 September 1978 Doctors Hospital, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, at age 56;11 buried 20 September 1978 Sunnyside Cemetery, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.11

She lived at Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia, between 1948 and 1978.11

SSgt. James David SMITH10,12 was born on 14 October 1919 Leesburg, Lee County, Georgia.10 He was born on 14 October 1919 Leslie, Sumter County, Georgia.13 He appeared on the census of 28 January 1920 in Lee County, Georgia.14 He began military service on 12 April 1944 He joined the U.S. Army and left for the Pacific Theater on 16 March 1945. He had previously been rejected on several occassions because of a heart condition.12,5 He ended military service on 29 April 1946 Fort McPherson; He returned from the Pacific Theater on 16 April 1946. He received the following awards: Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, World War II Victory Medal, and Good Conduct Medal.12 He was a Auto Mechanic circa 1947 Americus, Sumter County, Georgia.10 He lived at 310 23rd Avenue East, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.12 He was a Service Manager circa 1971 Branan Motor Company, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.15 He died on 28 February 1984 Crisp County Hospital, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia, at age 64.16 He was buried on 1 March 1984 Sunnyside Cemetery, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.16
