Although a single title for my web page would never fully encompass the breadth of my research, I have chosen the above title for a couple of reasons:

1. Horton is my surname, although I owe much to all of my forebears
2. Despite tracing many lines back to Europe, the immediate past generations of my forebears have called Southwest Georgia their home

I hope you enjoy browsing the site as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.

Unfortunately, I have not had time to pursue this effort since then, but felt like I should continue to display the available research I have completed. All information in my possession is posted on this site. I apologize in advance for not being able to answer email regarding specific ancestors or branches of research.
